A Bit About Tony
Mr. Crowder is a retired federal senior executive service member with over 35 years of military and civil service. He served 20 years with the United States Airforce and 18 years with Customs and Border Protection, Air and Marine Operations. He has substantial experience in management and oversight, having had responsibility for capital budgets of $800M and serving on the board of directors for programs worth over $7B. Mr. Crowder has long been considered the go-to guy for “the hard stuff.” He was hand-picked for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) assignments, leading far-reaching programs. He was a key member of multiple senior-level working groups to structure DHS and CBP.
Additionally, he served in multiple leadership positions during his military officer career, including crisis management and problem-solving. He spent his early career leading combat troops and was recruited for specialized duty assignments. Mr. Crowder was selected to establish and lead international counterdrug operations and establish policy and security assistance at the senior level. He was Secretary of Defense recruited to field emerging ballistic missile defense technology and innovative warfighting concepts, including Russian collaboration. Mr. Crowder concluded his military career as a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) officer with strategic command and control operations.
